We leave in the morning (8a.m.) from the Patagonia Travellers' Hostel by transfer to Lago del Desierto, 37km from town.
On the way to the lake, the driver will mention some places of interest where you can stop on the way back.
Once at the lake, you will receive the bicycles, and before returning to El Chaltén, you can take some walks:
The return to El Chaltén (37km - 4 hours approximately) is on your own, without a guide, through the scenic Provincial Route Nº41 of gravel, which borders the shore of the Río de las vueltas, being able to make as many stops as you want to appreciate the different landscapes and natural attractions.
*Although the difficulty is intermediate, the road is all gravel and with a lot of loose stones. This characteristic makes the excursion physically demanding and requires some experience in mountain biking on gravel terrain.
